ABOUT ME - YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER!
I fell in love with photography at the age of 11 when I went to photography camp and made my first pin hole camera. I convinced my dad to give me his Canon AE-1 SLR and began photographing portraits. In high school I saved my summer earnings from my job at Japan Camera and went straight downtown to Henry's on Queen Street to buy a used enlarger, developing trays and chemicals and created my own darkroom in my parents basement. I spent hours down there watching the images come to life before my eyes and was so passionate about creating interesting images. At about this same time I also fell in love with the other side of the camera and had another passion - Acting!
I received acceptance to the incredible Humber College Photography program. I also received acceptance to a few Acting conservatories and I chose Ryerson Theatre School. I continued to do my photography and had my work shown in galleries in Toronto before moving to New York City in 2006.
I worked with a very well known headshot photographer in New York City. Jinsey Dauk! Jinsey became my mentor and I learned so much! I was (and still am!) passionate about creating dynamic head shots.
I expanded my artistic eye with macro photography and had my work featured in a theater in NYC. I moved to San Francisco in 2011 where I spent time photographing the gorgeous topography and taking family portraits.
In 2013 I moved to Los Angeles where I continued my photography/acting careers and continued taking actors head shots.
I moved back to Toronto in 2016 and am passionate about bringing REAL. AUTHENTIC. CONFIDENT. VULNERABLE. BEAUTIFUL. head shots to the acting community. I want to show YOU. On your best day.
